We are pleased to announce that AfroBack SARL is officially open for business!
Our first batch of Garri has been produced at our processing facility in Mbondang, Melong, Littoral Region, Cameroon.
This first production came after the fabrication and installation of our cassava grater, hydraulic press and Garri roasting bay. As this was our first production run with the new equipment, it gave us an important opportunity to test the machinery under real production conditions, identify areas for improvement and strengthen our processing procedures.
We are learning, improving and preparing for regular production.
We are now open for:
🌱 Purchase of raw cassava
We buy cassava from farmers and suppliers and transform it into quality food products.
🏭 Cassava processing
We process cassava using improved equipment and hygienic production methods.
🛍️ Sale of Garri
Freshly produced Garri is now available for purchase.
🤝 Purchase of other food products
We are also interested in purchasing selected agricultural and food products from reliable suppliers.
Our journey starts with cassava, but our ambition is much bigger: to create market opportunities for local producers while bringing quality Cameroonian food products to consumers.

🌱 AfroBack SARL Has Begun Production in Melong, Cameroon 🇨🇲
A new chapter has begun.
On Saturday, 15 August 2026, AfroBack SARL officially began production at its food processing factory in Mbondang, Melong, Littoral Region, Cameroon, starting with the processing of fresh cassava into Garri.
This marks an important milestone for AfroBack and the beginning of our journey to build a food processing company that sources quality agricultural products locally, adds value in Cameroon and connects local production to wider markets.
🏭 From preparation to production
The past few months have been dedicated to preparing the factory for operations. This included:
- Construction of a dedicated Garri roasting bay
- Repainting and improving the factory premises
- Flooring works
- Partitioning of production areas
- Fabrication and installation of production equipment and work tables
- Procurement of initial packaging materials and production tools
After months of preparation, the factory is now operational.
🌾 Calling Cassava Farmers in Melong and Surrounding Communities
AfroBack SARL is looking to establish reliable relationships with farmers producing good-quality fresh cassava.
If you have fresh cassava available for sale, please contact us.
To ensure quality and traceability, our sourcing process includes inspection of the farmer’s farm and recording of the farm’s GPS coordinates before establishing a purchasing relationship.
We are interested in working with farmers who can supply good-quality cassava consistently.
